Did you know ?

I don’t know whether the “facts” presented on the videoclips shown below are “true” or not; nor whether the content in some has been repeated more than once, but after looking at more than 4 of the “Did you know” presentations freely available to the world on “youtube”, how could I not know that the sights and sounds and figures presented are “one hell of a lot more” like I once imagined – as a three and four year old, without the benefit of language to capture it all ?

Even now, as a “senior citizen” by virtue of the 65 years I have lived (and after a lot of my youthful dreaming had been “educated” out of me), there are a literally trillions of things I have no idea about. And I suspect that this is the same for any of you, also, whether you are a budding “Einstein”, or not.

There is only one thing that I am sure about, and that is (as brilliantly expressed by Swami Amarananda of Geneva Switzerland, who represents the Hindu religion to United Nations bodies headquartered there) “Love is the immutable foundation on which to build anything which is of enduring worth."

Everything else must be learned from active observation, participation, retention of “lessons learned”, avoidance of accident, good fortune (luck), and the “will” to do what is “right” and “good” for others, as well as for “one’s own ‘self’ “. That is, to seek “win/win” solutions to everyday problems as they present themselves. This is the only way forward.
