Description: Despite being rich in natural resources, Africa is a poor continent - economic terms and availability of infrastructure. The American news portal VOA gathers some development experts to examine the economic and infrastructural lack of continent, and the synopsis of the discussion is that "...infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa is the key to fighting rural poverty." The experts believe "African leaders and donor nations are strongly committed to increasing both the quality and the quantity of infrastructure" saying "conditions in Africa today are right for sustained economic growth and poverty reduction if challenges are met and commitments are sustained."
